BlazeAid is a volunteer-based organisation that works with farmers and families in rural Australia after natural disasters such as fires and floods. Working alongside the farmers, our volunteers help to rebuild fences that have been damaged or destroyed.

Queensland Rural, Regional & Remote Women’s Network – Recovering from Trauma

The QRRRWN was formed in 1993 to meet the needs of women in rural communities throughout the State. After the 2012 floods, a series of webinars were updated (originally produced in 2011), focussing on strategies that could be applied to recover from trauma (like natural disasters).
